Characteristic use
1.The steel is pure
2.The softening microstructure of spheroidizing annealing is easy to be machined.
3.It has higher hardness when quenched, and has better dimensional stability after tempering. It is widely used to make blanking die, punching die, bending die and finishing die with thickness less than 8mm.
4.It is used for making gauges, measuring tools, woodworking tools, lathe thimble, etc.
5.It is used for guiding bushing, thimble, die, wire needle and so on
Heat treatment:
Quenching: first heat up to 550 ~650 C, then heat up to 800~850 C to harden in oil. Tempering: heat up to 150 ~200 C, stop at this temperature, and then quench it in static air. Hardness: above HRC60 C anneal: heat to 750~800 C, stay in this temperature for one to three hours, and let it gradually cool in the furnace.
