27SiMn thick walled steel tube

 27SIMn thick walled steel pipe is commonly called 27 silicon manganese steel pipe. It is a kind of material in steel pipe. The carbon content is between 0.24-0.32%. The silicon manganese only comes out because of the five elements (carbon C, silicon Si, manganese Mn, phosphorus P, sulfur S), and the content of silicon manganese is about 1.10-1.40%.

The features and uses of 27SiMn:

27SIMn thick wall steel pipe has high hardenability, good machinability, cold deformation plasticity and weldability, and the toughness of steel in heat treatment is not much lower, but it has high strength and wear resistance, especially when water quenched, it still has high toughness, but the steel is sensitive to white spot, and there is tempering brittleness tendency and overheat sensitivity in heat treatment. High sensitivity, high hardenability, good toughness, small deformation during quenching, high creep strength and lasting strength at high temperature. Forgings used to produce higher strength and higher tempering section for 35CrMo steel, such as large gear, turbocharger drive gear, rear axle, heavy load connecting rod and spring clip for locomotive traction, and also used for deep drilling rod joints and fishing tools under 2000m, and can be used as moulds for bending machines.

27SIMn pipe is suitable for power plant, boiler plant, chemical industry, vehicle and ship fittings, mainly used for hydraulic prop pipe, hydraulic cylinder and so on.
